Certificate Award Ceremony in Back-End Engineering: Webb Fontaine Fulfills Its Commitment to Skills Transfer

On April 04, 2025, the conference room of the Noom Hotel hosted the official certificate award ceremony in Back-End Engineering, organized by the Sourcemind Academy, with the support of Webb Fontaine Group. This event marks a major step forward in the framework of the technological skills transfer program between the Guinean State and the GUCEG (Guichet Unique du Commerce Extérieur de Guinée).

A structuring program for Guinean digital sovereignty

This intensive training in software development, conducted by the Sourcemind Academy, enabled 15 young graduates out of 18 to validate their certificate in Back-End Engineering, a strategic specialization in the information technology sector. The program, centered on practical skills, was designed to meet the growing needs for the digitalization of Guinean public services.

The ceremony took place in the presence of several high-ranking personalities:

  • the Minister of Budget,
  • the CEO of Webb Fontaine Group,
  • advisors to the Presidency and the Prime Minister’s Office,
  • as well as representatives of the public and private sectors.

Webb Fontaine, a key player in sustainable change

As the official sponsor of the Sourcemind Academy, Webb Fontaine Group reaffirms its commitment to supporting Guinean youth in the field of digital technology. During his speech, Mamoudou Diané, Managing Director of Webb Fontaine Guinea, emphasized:

These certified young people embody the future of Guinean digital administration. This program symbolizes our firm desire to transfer sustainable skills for the benefit of the Guinean State.

A partnership serving digital transformation

The GUCEG, a pillar of the modernization of foreign trade procedures, intends to continue this momentum by promoting technological autonomy and the rise of local talents. This first cohort constitutes a key step in building a sovereign and competent digital ecosystem.

Webb Fontaine and the GUCEG extend their sincere congratulations to the graduates, as well as their thanks to the institutional and private partners who supported this initiative.
