DNCEC Mission: GUCEG Showcases Its Reforms in Support of the AfCFTA

The Guinea Single Window for Foreign Trade (GUCEG) welcomed a delegation from the National Directorate of Foreign Trade and Competitiveness (DNCEC) as part of the assessment of the Republic of Guinea’s readiness to implement the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The working session provided an opportunity to present GUCEG’s mandate, as well as the key reforms undertaken to facilitate foreign trade, digitalize procedures, and secure government revenue.

Discussions Supporting the Implementation of the AfCFTA

The discussions also focused on identifying actions that could contribute to the effective implementation of the AfCFTA in the Republic of Guinea, leveraging the digital solutions developed by GUCEG.

Through its digital platform, GUCEG continues to advance the modernization of foreign trade by enhancing trade competitiveness, simplifying procedures, and improving operational transparency.

GUCEG reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national institutions, as well as technical and financial partners, in implementing initiatives that contribute to the development of foreign trade in the Republic of Guinea.
