GUCEG Workshop - consignment companies on the deployment of logistics functions

On Tuesday 26 and Wednesday, July 27, 2022, were held in a hotel of the place, two workshops between Webb Fontaine Guinea and the companies of Consignment 

 This Tuesday 26 and Wednesday, July 27, 2022, were held in a hotel of the place, two (2) workshops between Webb Fontaine Guinea, responsible for the establishment of the Single Window of Foreign Trade of Guinea (GUCEG) and consignment companies on the various logistics features that will be deployed on the platform of GUCEG 

These workshops, which follow a 1st contact that took place the previous month, had the objective of discussing in more detail the functionalities that concern the consignment companies, key actors in the process of exiting the goods under customs control. It was an opportunity to collect their opinions on the proposed solutions whose final objective is to facilitate and fluidify the exit of the goods, but also to allow them to raise possible concerns related to the complete digitalization of the process. 

These workshops ended with a firm commitment by all parties to complete this project, which will improve the competitiveness of the autonomous port of Conakry. 

At the end of the following workshops, the Webb Fontaine Guinea team will have met with all the actors of the logistic chain in order to consider their contributions which will make it possible to propose a deployment plan of these logistic functionalities.
