On Monday, June 27, 2022, was held in the meeting room of the Customs, a workshop between Webb Fontaine Guinea, responsible for the implementation of the Single Window of Foreign Trade of Guinea (GUCEG) and the Directorate General of Customs (DGD) on the various logistics features to be deployed on the platform of the GUCEG
After the implementation of the management of ship calls and the manifest for bulk and conventional goods in the course of 2021, the various teams will be working in the coming months on the deployment of functionalities that will enable the complete dematerialization of the logistics process up to the exit and delivery of goods.
This workshop, which is the first of a series of 5 to be held in the coming days, will allow the GUCEG team to meet with consignees, handlers, freight forwarders, carriers, the Autonomous Port of Conakry (PAC), and other actors in foreign trade, in order to present the various features and agree on the management perimeters of port logistics in the GUCEG
As a reminder, the GUCEG is a platform set up by the Guinean Government in partnership with the company Webb Fontaine for the facilitation, digitization and securing of operations related to foreign trade in the Republic of Guinea.
