Introductory meeting at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget

On February 5, 2026, the Director General of the Guinea Single Window for Foreign Trade (GUCEG), Mr. Mamoudou Diané, took part in the first cabinet meeting held at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget, following the appointment of the Minister, Mrs. Mariama Ciré Sylla.

This meeting brought together senior officials and executives from the former Budget and Economy and Finance departments, now unified within a single ministry, as part of the new governmental organization.

A meeting to lay the foundations for collaboration

This introductory meeting provided an important opportunity for the new ministerial team to engage with executives and representatives of the various entities under the Ministry’s supervision.

During her address, Minister Mariama Ciré Sylla called on all executives to demonstrate rigor, objectivity, and a strong sense of responsibility, in order to effectively contribute to the implementation of the government’s strategic orientations.

The participation of the Director General of GUCEG in this meeting reflects the institution’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening the country’s economic and financial governance.
