MEFB Secretary General Visits GUCEG

The Guinea Single Window for Foreign Trade (GUCEG) welcomed Mr. Ahmed Tidiane Touré, Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget (MEFB), for an introductory visit on September 3, 2026.

On this occasion, the Director General of GUCEG, Mr. Mamoudou Diané, presented GUCEG’s missions and main areas of intervention, as well as its role in the modernization, securing of public revenues, and facilitation of foreign trade in Guinea.

Presentation of GUCEG’s achievements and prospects

The discussions also focused on activities carried out since the beginning of 2026, ongoing projects, and GUCEG’s main prospects. The various reforms undertaken in the areas of digitalization of procedures, interconnection of stakeholders within the foreign trade ecosystem, trade facilitation, securing of public revenues, and modernization of the logistics chain were also presented.

An immersion into GUCEG’s operations

The visit continued with a tour of GUCEG’s technical departments and infrastructure, allowing the Secretary General to gain a better understanding of the technical and operational systems put in place to ensure the smooth functioning of the platform and support the modernization of foreign trade in Guinea.
