Preparations Continue for the Launch of the Import Cargo Transport Insurance Certificate

As part of the preparations for the launch of the Import Cargo Transport Insurance Certificate, a scoping meeting was held on July 2, 2026, at the headquarters of the Professional Association of Insurers of Guinea (APAG), under the chairmanship of Mr. Anselme Kamara, GUCEG Project Director.

The meeting brought together teams from GUCEG, APAG, insurance companies, and representatives of MAMRI to ensure effective coordination of the preparatory work.

A Key Step Toward the Launch

The discussions enabled all stakeholders to establish a shared understanding of the project’s key components, provide their feedback, and define the necessary directions for finalizing the preparatory work.

An Initiative Supporting the Digitalization of Procedures

Through this meeting, GUCEG continues its efforts to modernize and digitalize foreign trade procedures, in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders, to ensure the successful deployment of the Import Cargo Transport Insurance Certificate.
