As part of efforts to strengthen the link between academia and the professional world, the Guinea Single Window for Foreign Trade (GUCEG), in collaboration with Webb Fontaine Guinea, is hosting third-year undergraduate students from the University of Nongo Conakry for a professional immersion within its departments.
A total of 25 final-year students have been welcomed, providing them with a concrete opportunity to move from theory to practice and gain a better understanding of the realities of the corporate environment. Coming from various fields, including Transit and Customs, Banking and Finance, Business Economics, Accounting, and Economics-Finance, these students are gaining valuable experience at the heart of GUCEG’s operations.
Launched on Monday, April 20, this initiative began with a meeting with the Director General, who engaged with the students on GUCEG’s missions, the challenges of foreign trade, and career prospects.
Assigned to different departments according to their fields of study, the students are discovering how the institution operates, its professions, and its digitalization tools.
Organized over a five-day period, from Monday to Friday, this immersion allows several groups of students to take part successively, ensuring a practical and enriching experience for each participant.
Beyond a simple visit, this initiative reflects GUCEG’s commitment to actively contributing to the training of future professionals by bringing them closer to real-world practices and enhancing their skills.
